Position: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: 417 Spadina Rd, Forest Hill Village, Toronto
Job Summary:

As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Gameday Men's Health Canada, you will be a key member of our healthcare team, providing compassionate and high-quality care to men seeking health support. Your role will encompass assessments, patient education, and the administration of treatments, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient assessments and gather health history.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and medical information, including vital signs and responses to treatments.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on men's health issues.
  • Foster a caring and supportive environment for patients to discuss their health concerns.
  • Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients
  • Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12 and other vitamins)
  • Performing Shockwave treatment on patients and assisting in other procedures as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current and active license with the provincial College of Nurses
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in men’s health or primary care, is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
