Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creation, tracking and management of departmental purchase orders, liaising with accounting for reconciliation as required.
- Coordination, tracking and follow-up on project change orders, design samples and close-out documents.
- Development and maintain data record keeping system all maintenance requirements (R & M and Preventative) for the department
- Administrative support for the team as required, including booking meetings, taking minutes, and assisting with special projects.
- Communicate opportunities for improvement ofocesses and best practices.
- Liaise and support restaurant Operations to aid in proper planning and ensure timely communications
- Review preventative maintenance or work performed as requested by your leadership team
- Maintain and ensure integrity of maintenance and construction documentation e.g. changes logs, manuals and maintain sample archive area and drawing database.
- Assist the department in researching, gathering technical and pricing information and draft proposals as required.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong Coordination and organizational skills, knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act and building codes.
- 3 – 4 years’ experience in similar role - database management experience and project coordination skills within the construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills, including experience working with numerous stakeholders at various levels of management.
- Contract/subcontract coordination including assembling and issuing RFQ/RFPs.
