We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Non-Profit sector, located in Toronto, Ontario. This role involves managing the front desk, processing visitor inquiries, and maintaining an organized and well-stocked reception area.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors upon their arrival at the office, directing them to the relevant office or person
  • Manage incoming phone calls, screening and forwarding them as necessary
  • Keep the reception area tidy and ensure that all necessary stationery and materials such as pens, forms and brochures are readily available
  • Provide accurate information to visitors both in-person and via phone/email
  • Handle daily mail/deliveries, receiving, sorting and distributing them appropriately
  • Operate office equipment such as fax machines and printers
  • Use Microsoft Office to perform various administrative tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering inbound calls and directing phone calls as needed
  • Maintain a proactive attitude in resolving issues and inquiries.
