WHAT'S THE JOB?
We are looking to hire a experienced Project Manager to manage key client projects for the Dexterra On Demand Team. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Respond to emails, calls, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Convey information accurately and professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Manage calendars, schedules, and appointments efficiently.
- Keep documents, files, and records organized and easily accessible.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Schedule meetings, arrange travel, and coordinate logistics as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Identify issues, obstacles, and challenges and develop effective solutions to address them.
- Pay close attention to details and accuracy in all tasks and activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and developments related to your role.
- Conduct yourself with integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all interactions and decision-making.
- Define clear quality criteria and standards for project deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Implement quality assurance processes to verify that project activities are performed correctly and in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes, procedures, and findings.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback from stakeholders and team members.
- Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues from arising.
- Monitor client satisfaction with project deliverables and address any quality-related concerns promptly.
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 proven working experience in project management.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Experience with project management software tools.
