Senior Advisor - Operational Risk and Resiliency Management

We are seeking a Senior Advisor - Operational Risk and Resiliency Management to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role involves developing and maintaining business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing operational risks and ensuring business resiliency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies for restoring critical business systems.
• Create a repeatable foundation for mapping critical operations end-to-end, including people, premises, data, third parties, and processes.
• Develop measurable risk management tactics and plans to mitigate and prevent business disruptions.
• Lead regular and periodic testing exercises to validate the recovery and contingency plans' capability.
• Lead IT recovery and contingency plan efforts and actual event management, including organizing and leading a team of professionals across the enterprise in the event of a disaster.
• Communicate summary information to all internal and external IT recovery support groups.
• Identify the appropriate level of resources to maintain continuity of essential functions and track the overall recovery process.
• Recommend and sponsor critical IT recovery performance targets and ensure effective monitoring systems are in place.
• Be responsible for budget and planning costs associated with the implementation of the operational risk and resiliency strategy.
