They have built a reputation for delivering exceptional results across a diverse portfolio of projects in the temperature controlled facility and date centre building sectors.

Job Description
  • Oversee all construction projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and implement project strategies
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within budget
  • Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, trades and team members
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement new processes
  • Lead and inspire a team of construction professionals

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Construction should have:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience successfully delivering light industrial temperature controlled facility and data centre building projects valued between $40M and $100M in scope
  • Strong and established supply chain network and relationships in the local GTA Construction sector (subtrades, consultants, industry professionals, etc.)
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the local construction industry
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
