Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Onedersquad is looking for compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team. As a PSW, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and care to individuals in their homes or healthcare settings. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and assist with medical equipment as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Document and maintain accurate records of client care
- Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality standards
- Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program
- Valid PSW certification and/or relevant healthcare experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
- Ability to lift and assist with physical tasks as required
