Job Description Please note:This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2025 placement with a start date of May 2025 and end-date of August 2025. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either: Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2025; or If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2025), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team within RBC Royal Banks National Office group responsible for Credit Cards, Payments, Loyalty, and Transformation. You will work as part of an experienced team of Product Management experts, drawing on your endless curiosity, empathy, user research and analysis skills to support development of new opportunities and business priorities from primary research that allows you to define compelling narratives that communicate research insights, to utilizing the latest behavioural analysis tools to find and frame Voice of the Customer insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the competitive and innovative payments space where RBC leads with brands such as Avion Rewards, Ion+, RBC Avion Visa, payment innovations and partnerships. What will you do? Working under the direction of a Digital Product leader in our Loyalty team you will: Analyze user behaviours through primary research, and contribute ideas and perspectives to drive to better customer experiences and business outcomes Work and collaborate with colleagues to identify, test and/or implement opportunities to enhance products, processes, and competitiveness Develop relationships and coordinate within and across teams to complete and facility project execution Assist in designing internal controls, monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of regulatory risk management practices Leverage PowerPoint and other tools to effectively communicate recommendations to various stakeholders Utilize Excel to manage data, support reporting and/or identify new opportunities Utilize voice of the customer tools such as Fullstory, Verint and Qualtrics to collect, analyze and deliver insights and feedback in a timely manner What do you need to succeed?

Must-have Currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution with an interest in Product Management, User Research and/or Analytics Proficient with research frameworks and tools, with a passion for synthesizing research into executive decks and reports An innovative thinker who is proactive, is well organized with attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment Strong critical thinking, analytical skills and a passion for solving ambiguous and complex business issues Comfort with ambiguity and highly adaptable Strong communication skills, including experience in creating PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences Strong collaboration skills, ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and work with cross-functional teams Strong MS Office skills Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Whats in it for you?
