We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. This role is primarily involved in the financial industry, focusing on supporting and leading financial reporting and analysis for various business units. This position is integral to ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
Responsibilities:- Lead the process of preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Support the financial reporting and analysis for various business units.
- Maintain the general ledger's integrity by preparing monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end journal entries.
- Create and maintain mapping between Goldcare and Workday by assigning proper worktags and Ledger accounts.
- Maintain the GL Chart of accounts.
- Liaise and support business unit managers throughout the organization.
- Provide backup coverage for Accounts Payable as needed.
- Participate in other projects as part of the financial analyst team.
- Develop, write, and maintain various reports using tools such as GC-MYOR and Workday.
