We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Manufacturing industry, located in Burlington, Ontario. The Receptionist will play a key role in managing the reception area, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills in Customer Service, Data Entry, and Microsoft Office Suite in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing the reception switchboard and directing calls to the appropriate parties.
  • Handling employee to employee calls and taking messages when necessary.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Keeping the reception area clean and organized.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including distribution and preparation of invoices for Accounts Receivable.
  • Assisting with the ordering of office and janitorial supplies.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and booking flights for staff as requested.
  • Liaising with service providers for building repairs as required.
  • Organizing lunches for meetings and training sessions.
  • Keeping the mailroom stocked and well-organized.
  • Providing support for accounts payable processing.
