We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to support a machinery manufacturing organization in Scarborough, Ontario. The ideal Cybersecurity Analyst will have experience to protect our clint's computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
The ideal candidate will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information. This is a 6 month contract, 3 days in office in Scarborough, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or suspicious activity Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner Conduct vulnerability assessments Analyze security logs and alerts from SIEM tools Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations Assist with compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA) Provide security awareness training to employees Coordinate prevention services (e.g. penetration testing) with security partners
