The Position

As a Delivery Management Analyst Intern, you will contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives within Roche Informatics, a global organization that enables business strategy across Roche. As a member of the Delivery Management Chapter, you will be partnered with Senior Delivery Managers and Product Managers, completing IT projects and taking accountability for the Agile project delivery, project management, governance and continuous improvement of services associated with one or more products (technology solutions) to the Business.

Note: This is not a technical role where coding knowledge is required or practiced in the job.

The Opportunity:

  • Assist project managers in planning, driving, and monitoring IT projects, including developing project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project communications and engage with stakeholders, while collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Coordinate incident and problem management efforts, including root cause analysis and resolution, ensuring smooth delivery of IT services.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures, best practices for service delivery, and support budget management for products and services.
  • Work with business partners and external vendors to drive continuous improvements, and participate in IT community building events, Roche Canada Corporate events, and Corporate Social Responsibility activities.

Who you are:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Bachelor’s degree) preferably in the Computer Science, Information Technology, Business IT, Computer Engineering, Business Technology Management subject area and must have completed at least 2 years of academic study.
  • Enthusiastic learner in IT Project Management, Delivery, IT Service Management, and Agile methodologies; familiar with Google suite components; critical and creative problem solver for IT business solutions.
  • Team-oriented player with excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills; enjoys collaborating in Agile environments with large, cross-functional global teams.
  • Self-driven, able to work autonomously, navigate roadblocks, and be resourceful.

Preferred:

  • Have at least one prior Co-op or Internship experience.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Hybrid, Based in Mississauga (minimum 3 days in the office)
  • Hours: full-time (35 hours per week)
  • Length: This position is an 8-month work term (full-time) and has an approximate start date of January 2025.
