Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed effectively in stores to maximize visibility, drive sales, and align with brand standards.

The Retail Merchandiser will also collaborate with the marketing team to provide input on packaging design to enhance shelf appeal and overall customer experience. This role requires a creative mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising & Display:

  • Plan and execute in-store product displays and layouts to align with brand guidelines and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor the visual appeal and organization of store shelves, fixtures, and signage.
  • Implement seasonal changes, product launches, and promotional displays in a timely manner.

Packaging Design Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to provide input on packaging design that aligns with customer preferences and retail trends.
  • Offer feedback on packaging prototypes, ensuring designs enhance shelf appeal and stand out in the retail environment.
  • Assist in testing and evaluating packaging designs to optimize functionality and visual impact.

Inventory Management:

  • Track stock levels to ensure products are adequately replenished and minimize overstock or stockouts.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse or supply chain team to resolve inventory discrepancies.

Sales Performance:

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with store managers to optimize product placement and drive revenue growth.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Build relationships with store teams, suppliers, and marketing to align on brand initiatives and promotional strategies.
  • Communicate any store or product issues to relevant departments for resolution.

Market Research & Trend Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Recommend new product placements or adjustments to maximize sales potential.
  • Provide insights to the marketing team on customer behavior and in-store trends to inform packaging and design decisions.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or a related role.
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects, particularly in collaboration with marketing, is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret sales data and implement data-driven merchandising decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative eye for design and visual presentation, particularly for packaging and product displays.
  • Familiarity with retail software and inventory management systems is a plus.
