About Our Client
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you will lead project teams, manage budgets, and drive safety and compliance across job sites.This role reports directly to the Construction Operations Manager and plays a key role in shaping the success of the company's projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Coordination: ✔ Lead project kick-off, pre-construction, and coordination meetings to establish clear expectations.
✔ Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, collaborating with site supervisors, project coordinators, and estimators.✔ Assign responsibilities within project teams and ensure accountability at all levels.
✔ Serve as the main client contact, providing updates, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
✔ Manage all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
✔ Provide feedback to estimators for future project tenders.
Budget & Cost Control: ✔ Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
✔ Oversee monthly progress billing, ensuring accurate breakdowns and timely receivables.✔ Follow up with clients for payment approvals and certificates.
✔ Review financial dashboards daily to approve purchase orders and invoices efficiently.
✔ Work closely with contract administrators to finalize subcontractor contracts and purchase orders.
Safety & Compliance:✔ Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines by conducting orientations, toolbox talks, site inspections, and safety meetings.
✔ Identify project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.

The Successful Applicant
What You Bring to the Table:✔ 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.✔ Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
✔ Experience working with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive project success.
✔ Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
✔ Familiarity with WSIB, MOL, and COR safety standards.
