About Our Client
Our client is a well-established General Contractor specializing in ICI projects, with a focus on developments ranging from $5M to $80M+. With over 70 years in the market, they have built a reputation for their expertise and technical excellence, successfully meeting the demands of Ontario's construction industry.We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team and oversee high-value institutional projects in the GTA.
Job Description- Project Planning - Assist in defining objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, and help develop project schedules.
- Documentation & Reporting - Maintain project records, ensure version control, and generate progress and budget reports.
- Resource Coordination - Manage the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Quality Control - Monitor construction processes, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Risk Management - Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement safety protocols.
- Budgeting & Cost Control - Assist with budget creation, monitor expenses, and track cost performance.
- Permitting & Compliance - Ensure all permits and approvals are obtained, and maintain compliance with local regulations.
- Closeout & Handover - Oversee project closeout, conduct final inspections, and manage the handover of documentation and warranties.

The Successful Applicant- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in the ICI (Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial) sector, with project values ranging from $5M to $50M.
- A degree in Engineering or Architecture from a recognized Canadian university or college.
- Advanced proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
