Engineering Intern - Transportation Electrification

Context:
Length of internship: internship of 4 months with possibility of extension to 8 monthsLocation: Montreal
Work mode: hybrid
Missions/Main Duties:
- Contribute to the drafting of comparative studies;
- Participate in the technical selection of equipment, checking and validating technical documents.
- Work closely with building architects and electrical engineers to ensure integration of charging equipment.
- Participate in project progress meetings with customers and partners.
- Simulate the operation of 100% electric garages using the TESS software developed by Systra Canada.
- Write technical specifications for equipment purchases.
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you to meet the company's organizational and business needs.
Profile/Skills:
Education : 2nd or 3rd year of Electrical engineering studies;Technical competencies:
- Knowledge of medium and low-voltage electrical distribution.
- Understanding of single-line diagrams.
- Good knowledge of electrical diagramming software: See Electrical, AutoCAD electrical, ePLAN;
- Knowledge of MS Office suite, SharePoint, etc...
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols is an asset.
- Familiarity with electrification standards and regulations is an asset.
Personal & soft skills:
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken);
- Collaboration and teamwork;
- Self-reliance and resourcefulness.
