Kitchen Supervisor

Kitchen Supervisor at Canada's leading casual dining restaurant, Boston Pizza, oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including the training, development and performance management of kitchen employees. They are responsible for ensuring that our most important people, our Guests and team members, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish.

The Assistant Kitchen Manager leads the team during operations focusing on serving perfect food, everytime and to work with a sense of purpose and urgency.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
  • Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to Boston Pizza recipes and standards.
  • Manage food inventory, portion control, and minimize waste to optimize cost control. Assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Address any issues or concerns that arise within the kitchen team promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following proper sanitization practi
  • Ensure all kitchen areas comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in staff scheduling to maintain adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role in a fast-paced kitchen environment (4+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Food Safety certificate is required
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
