ABOUT THIS ROLE

Seeking a business development professional with deep experience in selling enterprise solutions to banks, FIs, and fintech’s in Canada. This individual will be responsible for leading our business development efforts and delivering revenue and growth for Dandelion Payments business in the region.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead sourcing and identification of prospective clients (e.g. Internet research, industry publications, CRM-generated leads, LinkedIn, Networking, Industry events (e.g. Money 2020)
  • Conduct initial fact-finding with prospect to identify their cross-border payments needs and assess suitability to include in the sales pipeline
  • Obtain detailed understanding of prospect client’s existing cross-border payments business
  • Maintain updated CRM and sales pipeline
  • Articulate and explain Dandelion’s unique value proposition through FABs (features, advantages and benefits) to decision makers at prospect companies
  • Stay abreast of market trends in the fast-evolving cross-border payments space.
  • Monthly and quarterly individual sales and business performance reporting
  • Perform timely and efficient hand-over of new clients to service delivery team
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred. Ideally located in a major city in Canada.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales/business development experience in banking/Fintech companies in Canada.
  • Strong track record of consistently achieving/surpassing targeted KPIs
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced results-driven sales environment
