Account Manager - Junior

As a Junior Account Manager, you will work closely with clients, ensuring that their needs are met while building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

• Pay rate: $26/hour.
• Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid 4 days in office during training, 3 days after
• Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
• Job type: 12-month contract with possibility of extension | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by collaborating with internal teams at National Bank. Ensure a high level of customer service and keep clients informed on new developments, products, and services.
• Handle client issues promptly and thoroughly, recommending process improvements for better service delivery.
• Approve and review administrative items daily, including De-registrations, Bank Transfers, Foreign Exchanges, and Internal Account Transfers.
• Act as the liaison between operational areas within NBIN to ensure tasks are completed proactively and on time.
• Organize and document regular client meetings, addressing ongoing service and operational issues, investigating and resolving them.
• Provide clients with guidance on NBIN policies, procedures, and training that affect their business.
• Offer suggestions for process improvements to enhance business relationships with clients.
• Represent NBIN professionally at client meetings and business functions.

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• University degree, with a minimum of two years in a brokerage or service role.
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is mandatory. The Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is a definite asset.
• Familiarity with the structure, procedures, and systems within NBIN and related support areas.
• A solid understanding of the regulatory and legal aspects of the industry.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Enthusiastic and motivated with a "can-do" attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
