Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. The primary focus of this role will be to maintain and update client account information, communicate regularly with clients regarding their account status, and provide necessary support to the Operations and Leasing team.

• Accurately process and maintain client accounts receivable in accordance with company objectives.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to provide information for clients in legal status, including those in defaults, litigation, and bankruptcy.
• Regularly update records of all negligent accounts and prepare accounts receivable reports and letters.
• Review and verify client lease information, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies as necessary.
• Process client billings, rental notices, and parking income in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain the rent roll and associated charges in the finance system as per lease agreement.
• Respond to inquiries from clients by reviewing leases and billings for discrepancies and making necessary adjustments.
• Input all clients’ monthly sales and follow up on missing sales information.
• Support the implementation of new platforms and systems enhancements as required.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure timely payments.
