IT Administrator

Our client is looking to hiring an IT Administrator to join their growing team in Toronto. The role involves providing comprehensive IT support, maintain the systems, and contribute to the advancement of their technological capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient desktop support to all business users and handle IT-related issues promptly
- Support the setup and configuration of new laptops and desktops, including the installation of authorized software
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate logs on servers, laptops, and desktops
- Provide proactive suggestions for new technologies to support business operations
- Identify and implement improvements to existing business systems as required
- Prioritize tasks according to business needs and deadlines
- Troubleshoot network issues and escalate IT problems to the IT manager when necessary
- Take ownership of user problems, maintain timely communication about the status of the issue, and ensure adherence to service desk SLAs
- Generate statistics for IT issues including the status of outstanding and resolved incidents
- Develop support documentation to assist staff with requests for information and provide staff training if required.
