What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Consultant, Compensation Delivery, you play a key role in the successful administration and reporting of various compensation programs.

What will you do?
  • Manage the administration of Capital Market’s compensation program and Dominion Securities equity program through the maintenance of compensation information on internal and third-party systems & manage the monthly/annual processes, including, but not limited to:
  • tracking of mid-year/quarterly bonuses, performance related bonuses and guarantees
  • processing monthly payroll and file submissions
  • regular audits between internal and third-party systems
  • manage the annual attestation process
  • processing quarterly dividend reinvestments
  • providing critical validations to ensure accuracy of information
  • Partner with external tax advisors to ensure appropriate treatment of equity/deferred compensation payments for cross-border employees and provide accurate reporting to Canadian and international payroll teams
  • Support the creation and execution of user acceptance testing for internal and third-party system updates
  • Maintain proper controls, procedures, and documentation
  • Key back-up to the Senior Manager, Compensation Delivery and assist in year-end compensation activities.
  • Support from HR Business Partners and other groups with requests and queries
  • Responsibilities will include other activities, as required, to support the broader Compensation Delivery team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 2-4 experience, preferably in Compensation, Human Resources or Finance.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Human Resources
  • High level of technical proficiency with MS Office products
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond promptly to urgent matters.
  • Forward, logical thinking skills – ability to anticipate potential consequences and next steps
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge HR Information System (SAP/Workday)
  • Solid understanding of compensation frameworks and the types of compensation programs found within large organizations.
