Location: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Requirements:

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
• Valid Driver’s License

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment

Transport Refrigeration Technician Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Transport Refrigeration Technician is preferred
• Strong diagnostic ability, including trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills is required
• Experience working in a dealership specializing in Chrysler and Dodge, light and medium duty truck (gasoline and diesel) is beneficial
• Overhaul and service air conditioning, heating units and systems.
• Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Transport Refrigeration Technician Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
• Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshoot and test mechanical and electronic equipment
• Utilizing automotive experience in the shop/field to maintenance equipment/trucks
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
