Electromechanical Technician
UAP Inc. Cambridge
UAP Inc. is looking to expand their technician team by adding a technician to support the automated warehouse system of their Cambridge facility.
The candidate will carry out amongst others the following activities:
- Complete maintenance activities of the installed system
- Oversee maintenance activities and ensure efficient spare parts management
- Document all technical team activities in the CMMS
- Provide prompt and effective support to the operations team, adhering to the 'right first time' approach
- Participate in periodic operations meetings and emergency maintenance support
- Manage issues and internal escalation processes related to maintenance
- Monitor and optimise on-site maintenance activities, response times, and work quality standards
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure optimal system performance
To join our team you need:
- Technical diploma in electrics, electronics, mechanics, or automation
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams
- Knowledge of industrial automation, including sensor technology and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Experience in routine maintenance and commissioning of mechatronic systems
- Familiarity with CMMS and understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimise automated systems
