General Accountant

You will also be responsible for reconciling bank accounts, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with other team members to exchange accounting information.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing daily bank reconciliations and conducting other account reconciliations regularly
• Creating and maintaining a system for organizing financial information, records, and documents
• Monitoring account balances, tracking expenses, and preparing analyses of accounts for monthly financial reports
• Recording journal entries and other transactions for month-end closing
• Managing inter-company transactions and reconciling intercompany balances regularly
• Collaborating with team members across companies to exchange necessary accounting information
• Assisting in the timely monthly closing as per company requirements
• Maintaining and updating schedules for fixed assets, accrued liability, tax payable, and other elements for month-end and year-end closing
• Supporting the Controller in year-end closing and providing necessary information on time
• Preparing supporting schedules, analyses, and disclosures for quarterly consolidated financial statements and internal reporting
• Assisting in maintaining costing information by activity, category, and product
• Responding to queries from external auditors
• Addressing adhoc requests from various stakeholders
• Assisting in annual/Quarterly Physical inventory
• Completing other relevant projects and tasks as assigned by the Controller.
