• Responsible for assigned customers’ demand plan/forecast – ensure inventory in-stock in different global distribution centers (DC’s)
• Collaborate with Sales and E-Commerce teams to develop strategies to drive revenue growth
• Monitor customer performance scorecard (together with Customer Operations) and facilitate actions to improve service levels specifically on inventory fulfillment/fill rate
• Develop and implement innovative processes in demand planning
• Develop analytics to identify opportunities and risks and recommend appropriate actions including efficient capacity planning for DC’s
• Together with Product Development team, ensure efficient and timely process flow of new product releases
• Work actively with teams to ensure that APO (Advanced Planner Optimizer) is effective and integrates seamlessly with SAP MRP & Sales Order modules including proper reporting in BW
• Develop strong relationship with Operations by timely communication on any forecast shifts that will impact DC’s
• Demonstrate visible leadership in ongoing process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Demand Planning role with a solid understanding of complex forecasting processes and algorithms.
• Technical Skills: Highly proficient computer skills with extensive experience in any Demand Planning/Forecasting application (APO and SAP experience an asset), Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other reporting software.
• Education: Post secondary education/degree in related field (degree in Mathematics, with a concentration in Statistics will be an asset)
