About this role …
Are you a collaborative, proven strategic thinker excited by applying your skill set in analytics and inventory management to e-commerce?
Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity to be part of a global Demand Planning and Inventory Management team?
What you’ll do …- Responsible for assigned customers’ demand plan/forecast – ensure inventory in-stock in different global distribution centers (DC’s)
- Collaborate with Sales and E-Commerce teams to develop strategies to drive revenue growth
- Monitor customer performance scorecard (together with Customer Operations) and facilitate actions to improve service levels specifically on inventory fulfillment/fill rate
- Develop and implement innovative processes in demand planning
- Develop analytics to identify opportunities and risks and recommend appropriate actions including efficient capacity planning for DC’s
- Together with Product Development team, ensure efficient and timely process flow of new product releases
- Work actively with teams to ensure that APO (Advanced Planner Optimizer) is effective and integrates seamlessly with SAP MRP & Sales Order modules including proper reporting in BW
- Develop strong relationship with Operations by timely communication on any forecast shifts that will impact DC’s
- Demonstrate visible leadership in ongoing process improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll bring …- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Demand Planning role with a solid understanding of complex forecasting processes and algorithms.
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient computer skills with extensive experience in any Demand Planning/Forecasting application (APO and SAP experience an asset), Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other reporting software.
- Education: Post secondary education/degree in related field (degree in Mathematics, with a concentration in Statistics will be an asset)
- You demonstrate a “no job is too small” mentality; you like to roll up your sleeves, jump in and get it done!
- You are a versatile thinker with strong analytical, systems and numerical skills with capacity to master complexity. You balance an analytical approach applying business and people-centric perspective when problem solving.
- You are a goal-oriented high achiever who acts proactively and takes initiative.
- You encourage collaboration and are a team player who can develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
