Position Summary:

Position Title: Finance Intern (Summer 2026)
Reports to: Manager, Accounting

Location: Remote (Ontario, Canada)

This is a full-time (40 hour per week) internship for a duration of 12 weeks. (May to August 2026)

The Finance Intern will support day-to-day AP and AR activities while gaining hands-on experience with financial systems and processes. This role includes process documentation, vendor management support, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Shadow Accounts Payable to learn core AP processes and responsibilities
  • Assist with documenting existing AP workflows and identifying process improvements
  • Support vendor management activities, including:
  • Assisting with the transition of vendors
  • Collaborating with Purchasing and Operations teams to support vendor setup
  • Assist with vendor setup and processing in QuickBooks
  • Enter invoices into financial systems, including Serrala and QuickBooks
  • Develop and maintain a centralized list of key contacts
  • Assist with the distribution of AR invoices to customers
  • Provide support on ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed

Position Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new systems
