What is the opportunity?
As a Lead Business system Analyst, you would work on Trade Surveillance Compliance projects for Capital Markets and Wealth Management to analyze information technology (IT) requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across (IT) teams.Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.
What will you do?- Elicit functional and system requirements for Trade Surveillance Compliance projects for Capital Markets and Wealth Management.
- Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using Agile methodology.
- Translating business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards.
- Analyze and map current business processes related to sales practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of system features based on business needs and requirements.
- Support the training and onboarding of end-users and business stakeholders on new system functionalities related to sales practice alerts.

Must-have- 8+ years of practical data engineering experience. Must have strong understanding of banking products (wholesale and retail) and risk. Essential (especially Derivatives, Fixed Income, Money Market and Equities)
- Relevant Business Systems Analyst experience in a large-scale banking context (4 or more years of relevant experience in this role).
- Ability to gather functional business process requirements and contribute to translating user requests into technical specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent Analytical thinking skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to query data ( SQL) and use Excel for advanced data analysis and requirement documentation
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Risk certifications & Business Analysis Certification (i.e., FRM, CBAP, CFA, CSM, etc.)
- Working experience with various asset classes such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Money Market Instrument and OTC Derivatives
- Working experience with databases and data repositories.
