The Boom Truck Driver will be responsible for daily deliveries to customers in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will work well independently, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and preferably will be knowledgeable of local driving routes.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete deliveries to customers according to the assigned delivery route
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks
  • Dedicated to following safe driving practices and Ministry of Transportation regulations, and maintain Hours of Service log book as required by Provincial Legislation
  • Perform duties while following health and safety procedures and complete delivery documentation and end of day
  • Responsible for carrying proper documentation in the truck
  • Execute all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

Must Haves:

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a truck driver (minimum DZ designation) in a customer-focused industry.
  • Certification to operate a boom truck
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and teammates
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Able to lift 50 pounds

Nice to Haves:

  • Knowledge of local routes
  • Plumbing and/or HVAC product knowledge is an asset
