Our client is a key industrial player in North America's aerospace sector. He is looking for a Production Manager.
Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a high-performance team. The selected individual will oversee end-to-end production operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional product quality and delivery standards.This is a strategic role that involves hands-on leadership, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Focus will be on ensuring smooth production operations, adherence to quality standards, and maintaining a culture of excellence on the shop floor.- Production Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute production plans using MRP and inventory control systems to balance supply and demand effectively.
- Operational Management: Lead all manufacturing activities, including assembly, machining, integration, and testing, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and coach a diverse team (5 supervisors and non-unionized environment), fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment to optimize performance.
- Process Optimization: Implement lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and output.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality metrics to ensure high reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate production-related risks to ensure on-time and on-spec delivery.

The Successful Applicant- Mandatory bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing production operations in aerospace, automotive or other high-reliability industries.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and data-driven decision making.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team towards achieving operational excellence.
