POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the DatabaseManageris responsible to develop, review andinterpret data analyses and KPI’s to focus marketing spends and targets to yield optimum ROI.They also leadthe development and execution of alldirect mail and email marketing promotional campaigns and specialevents
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for all Marketing analyses and KPI's, must be able to interpret data and provide reportingfor actionable insights.
- Maintains and updates existingreports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Subject matter expert for Bally’s CMP Campaign, EBS, BI and Tableau
- Utilizes Structured Query Language (SQL), data warehouses, relational databases, and multi-dimensional databases in analyzing various data sources (in-house databases, data warehouse, otherthird-party data sources, etc.) to develop queries and procedures for extracting and communicatingrequired information.
- Develops pro forma and post forma analyses for events and campaigns.
- Makes recommendations for segmentation of offers of new promotions and also optimization of existingpromotions with the goal of producing incremental profits.
- Reviews promotion activity and membership trends to recommend changes in marketing programs asrequired.
- Collaborates with the Marketing team in designing promotional concepts that targets various playersegments, including review of creative assets, communication to internal departments, external agencies,and assisting with execution.
- Maintains accuracy and integrity of the customer database by tracking returned mail, unsubscribes,bounced emails, self-exclusions, reinstated self-exclusions and duplicate accounts.
- Investigates and solves data quality issues and trains new users as needed.
- Worksclosely with the marketing team to coordinate and execute email and direct mail campaigns.
- Works closely with Player’s Club and Player Development teams on guest related inquiries.
- Coordinates projects with external vendors ensuring data integrity and compliance.Provides regulatory & compliance data and responses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Exhibits conduct in accordance with all AGCO Regulations
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS- SQL experience is required.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, with expert skills in Excel
- Business degree or diploma in Business, Advertising, Marketing and/or a combination ofeducation andwork experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data management.
- Previous experience in resort casino strongly preferred.
- Experience in database structures and creating queries.
- Knowledge of Bally’s-Casino Marketplace and Tableau Data Visualization a plus.
- Must have experience in customer relationship management (CRM).
- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and GamingCommission of Ontario
- A clear and concise communicator with the ability to communicate stories and insights from largeamounts of data.
- Able to demonstrate good business acumen.
- Flexible to changing business needs.
- Ability to create queries is required
- Superior organizationaland time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze raw data to find trends, anomalies and profitable opportunities.
- Highly motivated and high level of initiative; inspires confidence to work independently and in supportof department goals and business objectives
Physical Demands:
- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casinorelated environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure togeneral public
Working Conditions:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
