Store Manager

Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at their location in Lloydminster, AB. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary of $50,000 - $55,000 per annum and offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in a dynamic retail environment.

• Pay Rate: $50k-$55k/year.
• Location: Lloydminster, AB
• Shift: Monday-Friday with some weekends
• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Managing on-site operations, including work schedules and resource allocation, and supervising employees.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any operational issues or concerns to senior management.
• Ordering fuel, merchandise, and supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Addressing customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive shopping experience at all times.
• Monitoring sales, tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures.
• Ensuring the gas station and retail store are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
• Evaluating staff performance, providing feedback and training to enhance skills and productivity.

Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• Experience in retail operations, particularly in a gas station or convenience store setting, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial data.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other computer software.
• Clear criminal check and reliable transportation are required.
