Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.

Duties
  • Check prescriptions accurately and assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Checking Blister Packs and Compounding
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to pharmacy practice.
  • Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing medications appropriately.
  • Perform medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists when necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in medication administration techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with Kroll pharmacy software
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 35 per week
