Our client is a leading Canada Bank which is based out of Downtown Toronto

Job Description
  • Oversee and maintain FXO operational activities, including trade confirmation, cash-flow settlement, and cash control, across multiple geographic locations and jurisdictions.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational concerns and provide effective incident management support during technology disruptions.
  • Identify and evaluate automation and technology solutions to improve productivity, cost, and service delivery. Collaborate with GWRT to design and build necessary technology platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to day-to-day business controls and regulatory requirements, including operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.
  • Champion a high-performance environment by attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating the team. Implement a people strategy, set goals, conduct performance reviews, and manage succession planning.

The Successful Applicant
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
  • Experience in Capital Markets Operations, with a strong background in FX Options.
  • Proven experience in confirmation drafting for complex/structured products and product variations.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex).
  • Strong technical aptitude, including experience with system automation and improvement (e.g., VBA, macros). Ability to identify and evaluate automation and technology solutions to improve productivity, cost, and service support delivery.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to oversee and maintain operational activities, including trade confirmation, settlements, and cash control processes.
