The position:

As a Service Technician Assistant, you will be an essential part of our service team, helping to ensure a seamless customer experience. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will assist technicians with physically demanding tasks, facilitate efficient parts delivery, maintain meticulous documentation, and uphold safety standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist Service Technicians with heavy lifting, equipment removal, installations, and timely parts delivery to support efficient service operations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation by inspecting products and work areas for damage, completing required paperwork, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Prioritize safety & compliance by following company and provincial safety standards, using proper lifting techniques, and practicing safe driving habits.
  • Maintain equipment & vehicles by reporting maintenance issues, keeping company tools in excellent condition, and ensuring service manuals are up-to-date.
  • Support a clean & organized workspace by upholding housekeeping standards in vehicles, shops, and customer homes while fostering teamwork and collaboration.

What you need to be successful:

  • Valid driver’s license required for operating company vehicles.
  • Physical capability to safely lift and maneuver items over 75 lbs.
  • Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with technicians and team members.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to assist with technical service tasks.

Availability:

This is a full-time position and will require you to be available:

Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm

Compensation:

$17/hr - $20/hr
