What is the opportunity?

We are currently seeking a Premier Banking Advisor to join our team. You will be a professional advisor delivering a superior client experience to High Net Worth Wealth Management Canada households for their personal banking and lending needs.

You will be responsible for acquiring and deepening relationships of new high net worth households in partnership with the Wealth Management Canada advisor who will continue to be the primary relationship manager for wealth and financial advice.

What will you do?
  • Manage and execute the Premier Banking onboarding process and full range of personal banking and credit solutions
  • Nurture and grow client relationships by understanding the client’s personal banking and lending needs, working in concert with the Wealth Management Canada advisors
  • Seek to move client product and service loyalty towards RBC over time through excellence in service, relationship building, care and discovery
  • Follow the steps to deliver a robust Advice Experience (client discovery, the use of tools and calculators and the recommendation of the product solutions that best align with the client’s goals, needs and objectives)
  • Ensure any issue is resolved to the client’s satisfaction
  • Proactively educate and enable clients to engage with RBC through the channel of their choice

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Proven sales experience in the financial services industry, providing proactive and tailored personal banking and credit advice to clients
  • Exceptional client servicing and problem resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and build trust with colleagues across the various RBC platforms
  • Proven track record in acquiring new client relationships while deepening existing client relationships
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
Nice-to-have
  • University degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Completion of the Personal Financial Services Advice (PFSA) course or the Fundamentals of Personal Finance (0700) course
  • Proficiency with RBC’s digital solutions
  • Experience working with high net worth clients
