Position Overview:

Applications are invited for the position of Birthday Party Host for Guelph Museums, within the Culture and Recreation Department. This position is responsible for the preparation and delivery of children’s birthday parties at Guelph Civic Museum.

Hours of Work

Up to 20 hours per week. Hours will vary. Weekend availability required.

Key duties and responsibilities
  • Set up tables, chairs, and activities.
  • Lead activities for party participants.
  • Serve pizza, cake, and beverages.
  • Clean up following the party.
  • Provide friendly customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and requirements
  • Secondary school education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience interacting with children and adults in public program setting

Pay/Salary

$17.24 - $18.15 per hour
