Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end testing of web applications and APIs, including functional, integration, regression, and E2E testing to ensure system quality and stability;
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases to improve test coverage;
- Lead or contribute to building automated testing frameworks (API automation, E2E automation, etc.);
- Write test scripts and testing utilities using Python to improve efficiency and scalability;
- Perform API testing (REST / GraphQL) and validate business logic and data integrity;
- Manage and track defects, collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues;
- Set up and maintain test environments, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines;
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, participate in requirement reviews, and identify risks early;
- Analyze production issues and logs to continuously improve testing strategies and quality systems.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields preferred;
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in web or internet applications;
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing, etc.);
- Proficiency in Python, with the ability to write test scripts or automation tools;
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as pytest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.;
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, httpx) and testing methodologies;
- Experience with defect tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Notion, Trello);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and a strong team player with good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
- Experience in front-end or back-end development, with the ability to read/debug code;
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions);
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter);
- Experience testing microservices or distributed systems;
- Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Loki);
- Ability to design test strategies and drive quality improvements.
