Your role
Join our team as a Team Lead with the Southern Ontario team.

As a key member of our team, you play a pivotal role in making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. Our team delivers projects that improve the quality of life in communities across Canada by providing access to essential services such as housing, education, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:
Strategy- Build an annual business plan for your team
- Contribute to annual BU business plan and budget
- Demonstrate and act as a role model and influencer of our values and cultural behaviours
- Motivate and inspire your team
- Delegate and empower teams
- Coach team members
- Establish a presence in the community (local and online)
- Grow the Sales and Fee Income of your team by 15% annually
- Build and train your team to generate crossline selling opportunities
- Build and implement a culture of account management
- Partner with BD to generate growth in the local market
- Implement current year business plan (P&L)
- Manage people responsibilities for your team including performance management
- Deploy internal resources
- Manage financial performance of your team
- Implement corporate initiatives related to engagement and DEI
- Implement a culture of quality
- Escalate any issues that need further support to Professional Practice
Qualifications:
- A strong desire to grow the business presence in the local market and meet company growth targets.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in operations leadership and business unit growth, preferably in professional services
- A university degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, finance, engineering, architecture, construction management, or comparable degree (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
- Clear understanding of a professional services business model, including workforce composition and resource management strategies, risk management strategies, and commercial strategies
- A network of industry contacts and relationships within the region as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations
- Ability to provide leadership, inspiration, guidance, and management support to a team of practitioners, as they define their career goals, develop their skills, and serve our clients
- Ability to meet or exceed financial business objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate an energetic disposition, and mentor teams to achieve business growth ambitions
