Overview:

Summer Intern Position – Digital Marketing Intern

The primary objective of this role is to assist the Online Marketing Manager with administrative and creative output regarding SEO, SEM and the overall online website experience on leons.ca.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for website, blog and social media platforms.
• Stay on top of SEO trends and best practices to ensure content aligns with search engine algorithms and attracts organic traffic.
• Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms and trends
• Monitor and Report on Ad campaign performance
• Monitor and Report on online metrics using GA4 and Shopify
• Create, analyze and execute content templates
• Assist with additional marketing tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies
• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in marketing, ecommerce or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel)
• Email marketing software/platform experience an asset
• Experience in Google Platforms Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Adwords, Google Business
• HTML coding experience an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
