Intermediate Technician - Toronto

Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Intermediate Technician in Ottawa, ON, for a leading manufacturing facility.

If you have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of process monitoring, problem-solving, and equipment operation, this is a great opportunity to join a well-established company.

  • Shifts: Monday – Friday
  • Job Type: Full-time | Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor critical process parameters, quality attributes, and production yield.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions for equipment and process deviations.
  • Assist in process improvements and optimization initiatives.
  • Support investigations into product and process issues, including root cause analysis.
  • Conduct engineering experiments to support process characterization.
  • Assist or lead equipment/process characterization projects.
  • Plan and organize work assignments efficiently to meet production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.
  • Contribute ideas for process enhancements and participate in solution implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and EH&S policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with operators, engineers, and management.
  • Provide timely support to production teams to achieve business goals.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the department.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.
  • College diploma in a technical field (2- or 3-year program) or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP, Lean Six Sigma, or statistical process control is an asset.
  • Familiarity with wafer fabrication, automated processing equipment, or root cause analysis methods is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
