About Our Client

Our client is a well-established General Contractor specializing in ICI projects, with a focus on developments ranging from $5M to $80M+. With over 70 years in the market, they have built a reputation for their expertise and technical excellence, successfully meeting the demands of Ontario's construction industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and oversee high-value institutional projects in the GTA.

Job Description
  • Lead and oversee ICI construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered successfully and meet project specifications.
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Conduct regular site visits to track progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Facilitate clear communication among all project participants, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and clients.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies.

The Successful Applicant
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the ICI (Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial) sector.
  • Proven success in leading at least three full-cycle, ground-up institutional developments, including projects such as community centers, libraries, schools, and police stations.
  • A degree in Engineering or Architecture from a recognized Canadian university or college.
  • PMP, LEED AP, or Gold Seal certification is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
