About the Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Nuovo Artistic Photography plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our recruitment and onboarding efforts. Based out of our Montreal HQ, this role supports recruitment operations across all studio locations, contributing to the growth of a team that uplifts and empowers women.

You will be responsible for implementing best practices, optimizing recruitment processes, and providing a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Operations Support
  • Provide operational and system support throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Manage high-volume candidate emails, out-reach, and interview coordination.
  • Develop and post job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Conduct quality assurance and troubleshooting for job postings on internal and external platforms.
Interview Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews using Gmail, ATS, and Google Calendar.
  • Maintain complex and shifting calendars across multiple time zones, ensuring timely scheduling adjustments.
Onboarding and New Hire Support
  • Facilitate new hire setup and day-one onboarding coordination.
  • Assist with processing reference checks and employment verifications as needed.
Talent Acquisition Programs and Reporting
  • Develop and support Talent Acquisition initiatives such as co-op programs, referral programs, and system optimizations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), Workable.
  • Generate and distribute recruitment reports for leadership.
Administrative Tasks
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition inbox, responding to inquiries and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Maintain an organized candidate pipeline.
  • Support Talent Acquisition calendar management and interview follow-ups.
  • Assist with job postings and resume screenings/reviews.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
  • Post-secondary education in Communications, English Literature, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment coordination, HR, or a related field; bilingual (French/English) proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Google Suite Suite.
  • Experience with ATS platforms or large HR systems (e.g., Workable, Rippling) is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A customer-centric and team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for creating a positive work environment.
