Games continue to evolve and push the boundaries of entertainment as we know it. The bar to deliver world-class games continues to rise, driven by advantages in better hardware and software capabilities. Along with optimizing game development engines, developing infrastructure and workflows for efficient remote and hybrid development, brings new opportunities and engineering challenges that all studios are facing today.
We directly support the team by finding ways to improve developer efficiency, allowing our game designers, animators and engineers to focus on what they do best. Some areas we are exploring are generative animations, automated testing using reinforcement learning agents, and multi-modal language models.
This candidate can wear many hats and is comfortable diving into different technology stacks, including languages like Python, C#, C++, and Rust. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
