General Farm Labourers - Calgary
We are currently seeking 10 full-time General Farm Labourers to join our team in the Peace River region of Alberta.
Founded in 1995, Entreprises Macay Inc. is a family owned and operated business. We are an industry leader in implementing new emerging technologies into our processes to produce the highest quality hay to our customers. We operate at the Lavoie family farm at 83328 Range Road 204, St.Isidore, Alberta, T0H 3B0.
As a General Farm Labourer, some of your duties will include:
- Loading bales for the dryer;
- Performing morning maintenance;
- Removing twine from round hay bales;
- Operating bale unrollers;
- Checking product quality;
- Probing bales to check moisture;
- Removing culled bales;
- Operating bale stacker; and
- Maintaining tarps.
Education and experience is not required for this position, but experience is an asset. Please note that this position involves significant manual labour.
This is a full-time permanent position. The wage for this position is $20.00 per hour for 48-60 hours per week. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, in addition to performance bonuses.
Staff accommodations are available at $500 per month.
