About the Role:
As a Full Stack Developer on Borrowell’s Platform Engineering team, you will design, develop, optimize, test, and maintain application code. You will ensure that software meets both the technical and business requirements that guided its design, while mentoring and knowledge sharing with others in the team so everyone can grow together.
You will be involved in the technical roadmap of upcoming net new products and you will see how your hard work directly impacts the lives of more than 3 million people using the Borrowell marketplace. Your role will involve building new systems and enhancing our current systems.
Requirements- 2+ yrs experience building scalable web applications on the cloud using microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET. Our back end is .NET 8 on Azure
- Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficient with RESTful API development and integration
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Problem-solving and debugging skills
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript front-end frameworks like React or Angular
- Experience working at a scaleup, preferably in the fintech space

The Interview Process

We are remote-first across Canada with an office in Toronto. This role requires you to attend in-person meetings and team-building events.
