Lead, Contingent Workforce & Vendor Management

Lead KPMG Canada's vendor management strategy for contingent workforce focusing on building talent pipeline, optimizing supplier relationships and implementing standardized processes to support the firm's Advisory practice (Risk Services, Management Consulting and Deal Advisory).
You will operate as a key intersection point between the businesses looking for contingent workers at scale and the internal Contract Labour office and external vendor ecosystem. What you will do Strategic Vendor Management Develop vendor management framework aligned with service offerings Map out the vendor ecosystem to growing practices/ practices with need for resource flexibility Establish relationships with staffing agencies and service providers across Canadian markets.

Implement performance metrics and scorecards for vendor evaluation Collaborate with vendors to identify approaches to drive preference for KPMG needs Lead quarterly business reviews with key vendors Advocate internally about vendor’s ease of use of working with KPMG CA Drive continuous improvement of vendor management practices through a data-driven, feedback-oriented approach powered by AI and analytics Negotiate favorable SLAs terms and renewals to maximize value and mitigate risks Analyze vendor performance data and provide actionable recommendations to enhance service delivery and cost-effectiveness Develop and implement standardized vendor management policies, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and accountability Lead vendor review meetings, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with vendors to address issues Program Management Develop vendor policies aligned with Canadian labor regulations Drive continuous improvement initiatives across vendor programs Create vendor tiers based on performance.

Create performance incentives by tier Collaborate with Business Enablement Services leadership Deliver an annual vendor management report to BES and Advisory leadership (vendor performance, cost reduction, new vendors added, increased program spend, strategic vendor relationships – impact on KPMG’s ability to sell and deliver better) Strategic Business Partnership Serve as a strategic business partner, utilizing data-driven AI insights to recommend vendor strategy, portfolio changes, contract negotiations, and other initiatives that align with cost optimization and risk mitigation goals Create an approach to collect market intelligence from vendors about rates, experience, onsite expectations among others to inform the business Create supply chains per business/ practice based on their needs and vendor capabilities.

Refine supply chains quarterly Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure vendor relationships support the broader business strategy and transformation initiatives Proactively educate priority business areas on how the vendor portfolio can support their needs Partner with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with Canadian regulations Drive technology adoption for vendor management processes Sourcing Work closely with two recruiters to execute talent searches and identify suitable candidates.
