Planning Space Developer

Adecco is currently hiring a part-time strategic and detail-oriented Planning Space Developer to join our client’s Refinery Business Office team in this remote position. In this role you will be responsible for enhancing Planning Space system to accurately calculate Total Processed Inputs (TPI) and align Refinery Income Statement with reporting standards.
This role will also involve creating new reports to provide greater visibility into downstream volumes, rates, and pricing.
- Pay Rate: $80 - $120/hr
- Location: Calgary, AB (REMOTE)
- Shift: 10 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Enable Planning Space to Properly Calculate Total Processed Inputs:
- Create new volume tabs to distinguish between products that should and should not count towards Total Processed Inputs.
- Develop a new reporting variable for Total Processed Inputs (volume and rate).
- Modify the Refinery Income Statement to split Other Feedstocks into Other TPI and Other Non-TPI Feedstocks for both the Cost of Sales section and Volume details section.
- Align Refinery Income Statement with Reporting:
- Modify the Refinery Income Statement to include Total Processed Inputs as a KPI in the top section of the report.
- Update the Refinery Income Statement to use Total Processed Inputs as the denominator for both Operating Cost $/bbl and Gross Margin $/bbl.
- Build Greater Visibility into Downstream Volumes, Rates, and Pricing:
- Create a new report in Economics called Downstream Volume Details with sections for KPIs, Total Volume, Daily Rate, and Realized Price.
- Ensure each section is split into Crude Feedstocks, Other TPI Feedstocks, and Other Non-TPI Feedstocks.
- Include relevant scalar variable information such as Product Name, Price File, and Planning Categorization.
Qualifications:
- · Minimum 10- 20 years of experience as Planning Space Developer.
- · Oil & Gas Industry experience.
- · Experience in developing plans for refinery, crude or downstream projects.
- · Experience in creating economics reports, Refinery Income Statement reports and Downstream Volume Details reports.
- · Must be comfortable with work schedule: This is a remote position for temporary 3 months contract with Part-time hours (10 hours a week)
- · Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
