Accounting Clerk

Our Calgary client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized individual with a strong accounting background to contribute to a dynamic branch environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile daily sales and prepare bank deposits for cash and cheques
  • Code and enter accounts payable invoices and prepare cheques
  • Generate and send customer invoices and statements; maintain digital and physical filing systems
  • Input payroll data into Excel and submit to head office
  • Assist with account reconciliations and margin analysis
  • Support purchasing and inventory processes, including twice-yearly physical inventory counts
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting through workflow and paperwork process improvements
  • Provide administrative support including customer service, sales order entry, and safety documentation
