Senior Technical Business Analyst with Capital Markets experience to support Regulatory Project for our banking client

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in Capital Markets and US regulatory projects to join our banking client. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical expertise, with a proven ability to work with complex data, regulatory requirements, and systems integration in a financial environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst in the Capital Markets domain (8+ years of experience)
- Strong knowledge of US financial regulations, including:
- SEC 10c-1a
- US LOPR, CAT/CAIS
- FED/FICC Reporting for FINRA
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases, including querying, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in data mapping and integration from source systems (e.g., Fidessa) to downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Capital Markets to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for regulatory initiatives.
- Support projects focused on compliance with US regulations, specifically:
- SEC 10c-1a
- US LOPR, CAT/CAIS
- FED/FICC Reporting for FINRA
- Perform data mapping and transformation tasks between source systems (e.g., Fidessa) and downstream systems, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Work with SQL databases to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and create detailed data mappings.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
- Contribute to the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet regulatory and business expectations.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including status reports, issue tracking, and risk assessments.
